Changes in the school calendar:
Monday, Sept. 14th and Friday, Sept. 25th will be Remote Planning Days (no instruction; no Grab and Go lunches).
We are also adding 3 Remote Learning Days--all students will participate in Remote Learning on Monday, Sept. 28th, Friday, Oct. 30th, and Friday, Nov. 20th. Lunches will be available those days.

The JH Baseball Team will host tryouts for 6th grade boys interested in participating this season. In order to appropriately manage current IESA, IHSA, and IDPH guidelines the team is only able to fill a limited roster. Tryouts for 6th graders will be Wednesday, August 12th from 11am-12pm @ the Brownstown JH Baseball Field.
They are also currently seeking an Assistant JH Baseball Coach. Please contact the Brownstown office if you are interested.

Registration

Statements are now available and can be paid online in Teacher Ease. For those who have not registered or paid online, in-person registration will be held tomorrow from 9 a.m.-7 p.m. in the High School cafeteria. Sports sign-up sheets will be available, and schedule changes can be done at that time. Please note....IDPH guidelines will be followed at registration. Thank you!

JH Baseball practice for 7th/8th graders will start Wednesday, August 5th from 9:00-11:00am. Players will need their own face cover and will be expected to follow Social Distancing and Face Cover guidelines. A parent meeting is TBA

As of today, the IESA has reinstated Jr. High Softball for the upcoming season. We are planning to start to practice this upcoming Tuesday at Deken Park from 9am - 11am. Please check with the Softball Facebook page for any weather-related changes. Make sure to bring any softball equipment you have (Glove, Bats, Etc.) their own individual water bottle, a towel for sweat and a mask to wear when not able to social distance.

Reminder--today is the last day for online registration. All students need to be registered, including those choosing the remote learning option. Please log into your Teacher Ease account to register your child as soon as possible. Thank you!

Per the IESA ruling this morning, there will be no Jr. High Softball or Jr. High Baseball for the 2020-21 school year.

Jr. High Softball (6th- 8th grade) practice is scheduled to begin this Monday, July 27th from 9-11 am. Please contact esomodi@stelmo.org if interested. Subject to change pending IESA/IDPH/ISBE guidelines.

Online registration will begin on Monday, July 20th and will continue through July 31st. For those needing to register in-person, registration will be held on August 5th from 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m. Please see the document below for additional information.


Our district calendar has been amended, and our last day of student "attendance" will be Thursday, May 21st.
Elementary packets will be due on Monday, May 18th. Packets can be dropped off at the High School cafeteria from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Students' personal belongings will be available for pick-up during those times, as well. This will be done in a drive-through manner, and we ask that you remain in your vehicles. Thank you!

Message to our students......


Our final learning packet distribution will take place on Monday, May 4th. Students who are not receiving lunches can pick up packets from 9-11 a.m. at the High School cafeteria. The rest of the packets will be distributed with lunches (11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.).
