Per the IESA ruling this morning, there will be no Jr. High Softball or Jr. High Baseball for the 2020-21 school year.
Jr. High Softball (6th- 8th grade) practice is scheduled to begin this Monday, July 27th from 9-11 am. Please contact esomodi@stelmo.org if interested. Subject to change pending IESA/IDPH/ISBE guidelines.

Our district calendar has been amended, and our last day of student "attendance" will be Thursday, May 21st.
Elementary packets will be due on Monday, May 18th. Packets can be dropped off at the High School cafeteria from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Students' personal belongings will be available for pick-up during those times, as well. This will be done in a drive-through manner, and we ask that you remain in your vehicles. Thank you!

Message to our students......
Our final learning packet distribution will take place on Monday, May 4th. Students who are not receiving lunches can pick up packets from 9-11 a.m. at the High School cafeteria. The rest of the packets will be distributed with lunches (11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.).

Tonight at 8:20 pm (Military Time 20:20) the city of St. Elmo will be lighting up Deken Park in honor of the class of 2020. This is a time to remember our seniors and know that we are all doing all that we can for you!

We will be making some changes in our lunch distribution beginning Wednesday, April 8th. Anyone receiving lunches will also be given learning packets with their lunches that day. Everyone else will need to pick up at packets at SEHS on April 8th from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m. This will be in a "drive-through" procedure--we ask that you please stay in your vehicles, as we adhere to social distancing guidelines.
Beginning Monday, April 13th, we will distribute lunches on Mondays and Thursdays each week from 11:30-1:00. We will include 3 breakfasts/lunches on Mondays and 2 breakfasts/lunches on Thursdays. The mandated school closure has been extended through April 30th. We are transitioning into Remote Learning Days, and the new learning packets will be delivered on April 8th. The original hard copy packets will contain enough materials to cover until that time. We appreciate everyone's patience during this crisis situation. We will continue to provide meals, and if you would like to sign up, please complete the survey on the previous post.
